I may be an amateur in the stock market, but I can tell you one thing…now looks like the time to buy! For the first time in over a year, the Dow Jones has hit the 10000 mark and stocks are on the rise. We are also in the middle of a very important time for lots of big companies as they are releasing their earnings, and although some are missing marks, many others are showing some pretty good stats, proving the economy is turning around. I cannot tell you what company to invest in, much less what market to invest in, but with some good solid research and sound advice from your financial planner, now may be the perfect time to take that money back out of cash and to start investing again! I even have a few positions in my portfolio that were up over 30 percent. I must admit, I sold those to get back some of last years losses, and now I have to figure out for myself what to buy back into, but I have learned from a lot of my mistakes and I hope to make this year a great one for my retirement portfolio!
