... that children are both intimately creative (instead of saying, 'drag the marker across the paper to leave behind traces of ink outlining your memory of a canine's eyes, nose and mouth,' you can say "draw a face"), but that children DO need to be reminded of the proper order of thing and they need the verification that a grown-up's 'request for a task' gives them!
