Numbers don't lie
Numbers don't lie
Hey look at these figures:
http://www.news-gazette.com/news/2008/10/05/black_mothers_more_likely_to_be
Now what does that mean? Well, according to a friend of mine who shall remain anonymous she said:
"Not because in my day there were still parents on the scene who insisted a husband be in place before you brought a child in the world - after the seeing the devastation of my aunts, sister-in-laws etc., suffering from the single mother syndrome and the after-math of it, it was my determination to never be a single mother. I didn't think of the consequences in later life e.g., grandmotherhood; someone to be there for you when nobody else would (which is hardly guaranteed) - I still think these numbers are disgusting. When they say Black they don't mean mixed-race either.
Sorry. Also, I couldn't share this with any and everybody either. I got enough envious niggas staring me down the throat."
Numbers are frightening and with the economy in a tail spin does anyone know where we are headed in say two years? Or how about two months? You don't like two months how about in January when the new president takes office?
