O.J. Simpson: Karma is a b….!

One of his greatest accomplishments was being the first NFL player to rush for more than 2000 yards in a season. What he is probably best known for now is the “alleged” murder of his ex-wife and her friend in 1994. While he enjoyed the moniker “The Juice” for many years now, Simpson is finally getting the squeeze he should have gotten almost 15 years ago. The controversial acquittal in his highly publicized murder trial in 1995 left two broken families feeling like justice was not served.

It might have taken almost 15 years but I believe karma finally caught up with O.J. Being found guilty on numerous charges in a Las Vegas robbery that took place in September 2007, will land Simpson in jail for up to 33 years. I have a feeling that this stint in jail might actually cause him to open up a bit on what really happened June 12th, 1994. I stand firm on the belief he did get away with murder and not because I am Caucasian but of the overwhelming evidence that was presented. Well at least justice was served for this conviction and I am sure the Brown’s and Goldman’s might be able to finally feel like this is payback for the two that were so brutally taken from them.

It is kind of sad to see a person that was such a gifted athlete, talented actor, and entrepreneur turn to such depraved criminal activity the last 20 years or so. I remember watching him in the Naked Gun movies and going wow, this guy sure has comedic appeal, and then sitting in class my junior year in high school watching the chase in the white Bronco suv utterly speechless. It just shows that anyone can spiral down the tube of self destruction at anytime. I just feel that people get what they deserve and I am a firm believer in “you reap what you sew”. Then again, in the end he will have to answer to a higher power.
