Obama, Planned Parenthood, Racism, and the Negro Project
posted October 28, 2008 - 4:10pmObama has garnished 10 million dollars of financial support from Planned Parenthood for his campaign, and in return he has voted for its position on every agenda, including opposing a bill in the Illinois State Senate that would protect infants that are born alive -- i.e. forcing hospitals to give medical care to abortion survivors. As a state senator for Illinois, he even heard testimony of nurses who described the horrors of watching infants die after a botched legal abortion because of the lack of medical intervention. 1
But this isn’t so surprising considering that Planned Parenthood, and the Democratic platform has gone together for years. According to “The Soul of Planned Parenthood”, published in the African-American magazine Destiny, August 1994 edition, President Bill Clinton had made Planned Parenthood the center of his health care reform package making abortion more readily available, and free. In 1994 when the article was written Planned Parenthood World Population, their full name, received around 1.8 billion dollars from your federal, and state taxes. Each clinic in the Clinton years had received separate Title V, VI, and X federal funding. 2
Can you imagine what Senator Obama has promised Planned Parenthood in exchange for their support? Like maybe the centerpiece of his health care reform package by chance?
According to speeches made to Planned Parenthood, The American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, and La Raza, abortion should be included in his universal health care plan. I’m sure Planned Parenthood doesn’t want to be left out of any universal health care plan. 3
Ms. La Verne Tolbert who wrote the expose, “The Soul of Planned Parenthood”, was a member of the board of Planned Parenthood in New York City in 1975. She claimed she was expressly recruited to make it look like Planned Parenthood was not trying to control the African American population. David Andrews, executive Vice President of Planned Parenthood Federation, as quoted in the New York Times Magazine of August 6, 1989 in regards to nominating the first African American women to lead the organization said, ”The nominating committee realized that she showed that we were not a white, upper-class, little-old-ladies and men-in-tennis shoes organization. We wanted to see ourselves as a social movement, and make a statement about the diversity in our ranks.
Why would anyone think that Planned Parenthood who according to Ms. Tolbert is a white, upper-class, elitist, liberal organization, wanted to look more Black, you ask? Well, Planned Parenthood likes to settle in minority neighborhoods, and it encourages black women, and girls, to obtain abortions by handing out flyers in their neighborhoods. Some cities have sued over this.
Ms. Tolbert left Planned Parenthood when she realized she was being used to push the Negro Project. Ms. Tolbert also realized that Faye Wattleton, the first female to lead the organization since Margaret Sanger who was also Black was selected because she could help disguise Planned Parenthood Negro Project goals.
What is the Negro Project you ask? It was started by Margret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood in 1939 to convince African Americans that they could have a better quality of life having fewer children. Carolyn Johnson, a contributor for the article, and a member of Black Californians for Life quotes Margret Sanger as saying, The mass of Negroes particularly in the South, still breed carelessly and disastrously with the result that the increase among Negroes, even more than among Whites, is from that portion of the population least intelligent, and fit.”
She, Margret Sanger, advocated winning over the African American clergy as blacks at that time believed that children came from God. In 1939 she writes about the Black clergy as follows, [i]”What I wish to see is the employment of an up-and-doing modern minister, colored, and an up-and-doing modern colored medical man, both to come to New York and train at the Clinic and at the Federation until they are oozing with birth control as well as population. They should then be sent out to cover the South and as many as they can get before, preach and preach and preach! That should be the job for them both for at least six months.”
In another letter she writes, We don’t want the word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious member..” .2
Is it any wonder that Planned Parenthood was so keen on recruiting the first African American Democratic Presidential nominee to run for President? After all, hadn’t they been grooming him for years, since 1939, through the African American churches, and clergy?
And ask yourself, is Obama oblivious to Planned Parenthood’s true goals, or does he support its true goals, or has he just allowed blind ambition to take over his desire to obtain the Presidency?
When asked about his views about when life began on national television, President Obama said that the answer was above his pay grade. When he supported his pro-abortion view to a reporter recently, he said that he didn’t want his young girls to grow up, make a mistake, and then not have a way out of it.
These are his African American grandchildren he was talking about killing. And what about his girls?
In 1994 when the expose, “The Soul of Planned Parenthood” was written 92% of women receiving first trimester abortions sought help for the physical or psychological trauma caused by past legal abortions. Abortion hurts women. Post Abortion Syndrome is real, and I will cover it in more detail in another article later.
Abortion also hurts African American men, the fathers, and grandfathers of the aborted children. Ms. Tolbert in “The Soul of Planned Parenthood”, writes nobody ever asked the fathers. They also suffer from grief.2
McCain was recently targeted as a little old man (not necessarily in tennis shoes) who was bringing up Senator Barrack Obama’s associations because Senator McCain was prejudiced, liked to incite violence, and wanted to make race an issue. In polite conversations, McCain/Palin supporters are told they aren’t voting for an African American because they are prejudiced. They are voting against the Obama/Biden ticket not because they don’t like African Americans, and are prejudiced against them. On the contrary, voters support McCain/Paulin because they want all babies to live, and prosper including African-Americans, Whites, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans, and yes, even a quarter part baby Eskimo named Trig with Down Syndrome. It’s not just race, and ethnic minorities that Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood thought were inferior, she also said, “More children from the fit, less from the unfit. That is the chief issue of birth control.” Mrs. Sanger was a firm believer in Eugenics, the science which deals with the improvement of the human race through controlled breeding. 90% of Down Syndrome children today are being aborted. Mr. and Mrs. McCain have a teenage daughter, Bridget McCain, who was adopted from India, as an infant. Trig Paulin, and Bridget McCain are 2 chief pieces of evidence that the McCain/Paulin ticket is not prejudiced against minorities.
As I told another Xombyter, don’t jump to conclusions in this Presidential “race.”
Just who is prejudiced against whom? In this “race” to the White House, it’s just too hard to tell.
