Obama's First 100 Days: Success, Failure, or...Usurpation?

With all of the debate about whether or not Barack Obama's first 100 days were a success, failure, or otherwise, most people have failed to recognize one simple fact that renders all other arguments moot: Barack Obama is not the legitimate President of the United States.

There's a thing called the "Constitution" that proves his ineligibility and makes him an official usurper of the federal executive.

Publius for President!

I am reading this article that you have written, Publius, and I don't see any "utter crap". In my opinion, the article that you wrote on your site is true and informative opinions of the first 100 days of Obama's presidency. You The situation going on at Guantanamo Bay scares the living daylights out of me. We are talking major criminals being released lately without so much as a slap on the wrist. Like the one that rented the boat right before the attack on the USS Cole...we just let him go, no questions asked? While there may be some there that claim they are being "torchured" (according to the detainees, one case being The Tipton Three), I can reflect back on the video showed on the news of one of our U.S. soldiers getting their head cut off to prove a point by these terrorists for what I think was bragging rights. At least the detainees in that detention camp are all in one piece and their family doesn't have to watch them being mutilated. I think the closing of that facility is tremendously wrong and will say to terrorists that there will be no consequence to their actions. Keep up the good work and informing the people, Publius.

Again, your argument is

Again, your argument is based on something that is irrelevant. This has absolutely nothing to do with a birth certificate. Even if Obama finally does provide his actual birth certificate and it shows that he was born in Hawaii (which I am not even disputing), it would still not make him a "natural-born citizen" as the language in our Constitution explicitly requires him to be in order to be president. And no, the RNC never did respond. But then again, neither did my representative and Mel Martinez responded to the wrong argument. That just confirms my opinion that our representatives in government are entirely inept and utterly worthless to the people they represent - no matter the party with whom they are affiliated. Obama's Hawaiian Birth Cirtificate

The birth certificate produced by the Obama bunch is still not a birth certificate. It is a cirtification of birth. This form is accepted by the State Department as enough proof. But there are still questions raised about the document. I believe it brings up more questions than proof. The long form that is the real birth certificate has never been produced. http://xomba.com/was_president_obama_born_united_states

Obama has a valid Hawaii birth certificate...

and so far none of the tin-foil hat brigade has been able to make their various "not a citizen" accusations stick. If one false claim of theirs doesn't work, they'll just throw out something else to see if it work. Not one has produced proof that their claim is correct, they're just making accusations. I can claim that I am Napoleon, but that doesn't make it so. These guys sound pretty desperate. Say Pub, did the RNC ever respond to your letter about this matter? Maybe they don't believe these claims have any merit, either.

A Mouthfull of His Favorite Words

Andanotherthing2 before I noticed you were using your favorite words and what they were, You used them to try to out disgust others you disagree with hoping this will cause censure. Andanotherthing2 it would seem you are still full of your favorite words which seem to be all about human waste. http://xomba.com/ghetto http://xomba.com/soldiers_speak_out http://xomba.com/pelosi_fibbing_nation

Good points Publius. Glad to

Good points Publius. Glad to see someone else in this Nation still believes laws ought to be followed and that Responsibitly breeds Freedom http://xomba.com/soldiers_speak_out http://xomba.com/ghetto

Actually, Les is not

Actually, Les is not entirely correct. Yes, the Supreme Court has dismissed eligibility lawsuits. However, none of them have been dismissed on the merits of the argument - they have been dismissed based on standing. (That means they dismissed them on the notion that the person bringing suit has no legal authority to do so.) But nearly all of these lawsuits have used the birth certificate-Kenya argument. Their goal is to obtain the long form birth certificate and "expose" Obama as a fraud. My argument here is that no birth certificate can prove that Obama is a "natural-born citizen." His father was a British subject, which disqualifies him outright for the presidency from that fact alone. Natural born citizenship is outside the scope of written law. That is what the Founding Fathers understood when they adopted the language of our Constitution. The key word here is "natural" and we find the supporting language and theories in natural law publications from the time of the American Revolution and prior. And it is not to be confused with 14th Amendment citizenship. They are two entirely different laws. Who is Publius? What is Rational Liberty? How do I join Xomba and get PAID to write?

AndAnotherThing2, Utter

AndAnotherThing2, Utter crap...that phrase could be used to describe your ability to comprehend and your ability to debate those who have a different view than yours. First of all, I saw no refutation of my position from you. Perhaps you ought to tell me where I am wrong. Secondly, the links in the article are to my previous articles which were written on the same subject. You should try reading them. Thirdly, by calling people "bullies", "violent reactionary right wingers", or "racists" in order to attempt to prove a point is quite unintellectual. What was your aim there? To provide an example of what you were describing? Finally, I'm glad that you have chosen to not apply for citizenship. We have enough ignorant and over-emotional citizens in this country who make it to the polls on Election Day. That's precisely why we have Barack Obama currently occupying the White House. Good-day. Your right Les

But it is still interesting to me to therorize if we should be considering natural born citizen on British Law or was there something else that the founding fathers intended when they said natural born citizen. And yes this article is a more than a bit of busting on Barack but Publius did a previous article on citizenship that he references in the article that I think is well worth the read. It is very long but he does make some good points in it. Here is that article: http://rationalliberty.com/index.php/2009/03/13/thoughts-on-united-states-citizenship/ Visit my homepage here
