As an Obama Victory Seems Increasingly Likely, Conservatives Are Getting Panicky and Unhinged

Another video showing that even this late in the campaign there are McCain/Palin supporters who still believe everything that the Republican ticket has lied about Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

no chit jdud....

you live your life based on the opinion of others. If it weren't for Alternet you wouldn't have anything to offer here. Nice to know you are so well rounded.

what is ridiculous is widening the ....

interpretation of God's word to allow for all immoral acts to be deemed acceptable by society, like you would like to see. That way everyone would have a get out of hell free card.

please leave jdud, and ...

don't come back until you have the spine to tell what your opinions are instead nitpicking other peoples comments apart. You continually put people down with making any point yourself. That says allot about you jdud.

What's ridiculous is narrow interpretation and judgment

Whereas I don't have time to continue this "As the Biblical Interpretation Spins" game--I have some more reading on AlterNet to do apparently, I will leave you to continue this yourself, as you seem to be the only one here that knows exactly what you are saying. Don't waste your time with him or the likes of him. He has an agenda and answering his tantrums is reinforcing his self righteousness. To read my posts and articles click here: http://www.xomba.com/xombyte/lmorovan

jdud, you are ridiculous...

you know exactly what I mean by my statement. God command's man to be with woman, not man. Not woman with woman. You are spinning this issue just like you do all your other liberal crackpot comments. The decision I refer to is the decsion for a man to enter into sexual relations with another man, and likewise a woman and a woman. They are both fronication and a sin in the eyes of God. Don't keep acting like you don't know what I'm saying just for the sake of argument, when you know exactly what I'm saying.

Agree

The only thing, in my opinion, that should be taught in schools regarding sex are contraception and the dangers of std's. I'm glad to see you are not in favor of "abstinence only" education, vbm. It's quite clear how dangerous that is.

So, single and childless couples cannot make a decision?

Quoting your words: "It is those that make a decision to not obey God's comandments (sic) that will pay the price." So, what you are saying that single people and couples who make the decision to not "be fruitful and multiply", which you yourself wasn't anything less than a direct order from God, are going to hell? Or do you believe that they are incapable of making a decision on the subject and will, thus, be given a free pass on this one by God? If a get married and make a conscious, deliberate decision never to have children, does that mean that I am disobeying God? This sounds just like the rationale the Catholic Church used to disallow Catholic married couples from using contraception. JOIN XOMBA IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD!

it's not interpretation...

and no heterosexuals and bachelor and "ettes" aren't going to hell based on that alone. I never said that, nor did I suggest that in any manner. Some people never find another of the opposite sex that they are compatibale with, some women are incapable of bearing children. It is those that make a decision to not obey God's comandments that will pay the price. It is a shame that you would question God's design. But, I'm not surprised.

So, bachelors and childless couples are going to hell?

The trouble with a narrow application of the Bible, as you have done here, is that it leaves much to interpretation. If we are to believe that "be fruitful and multiply" means that a man and woman (only) are obeying a commandment to have lots of children, then what about those heterosexual couple that cannot bear children? Are they disobeying God's commandment? How about those men and women who go through life a single bachelors and bachelorettes? Are they also disobeying God's commandment? Strict adherence to narrow interpretations of God's will isn't going to do anybody any good. JOIN XOMBA IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD!
