~OK!~ Is Really Scraping at the Bottom of the Bowl for This!

Okay, I subscribe to OK! Magazine just so I can see 'what's makin` the kiddies jump these days. But I recently 'read' one of their stories, and see that their writers are 'the kind who get distracted by flashy things.'

The story was on how Eminem and Mariah Carey had 'been dating' for a few months and had broken-up, and these writers were somehow surprised when Mariah turned up in Eminem's lyrics!

'What? You mean he wasn't talking about scheduling his next dental exam? You mean his lyrics are actually inspired by [gasp!] REAL LIFE???? Well buy me a mansion and call me king! who'da thunk it!'

There were a couple of pictures below the 'story'–one of Christina Aguilera, one of Britney (Spears)–with captions underneath 'informing' us that they were still 'upset over the coarse use of their names in Eminem's lyrics.'

Okay OK!, we get that you eventually 'listen to the rappers' words!' Maybe I was 'different' when I was younger, but I ALWAYS listened to the words! That's the reason "rock," "new age" and "Pokèmon" were/are always shunned as "Devil's Messages"; because people like you listen/watch and never "hear" the words.

Besides, Britney and Christina are famous because the people like to watch them 'have fun' (have fun ... express themselves ... whatever). That's why Eminem is famous too, don't get me wrong; but he's famous for expressing himself-with-reality, while Britney and Christina are famous for expressing their fantasies ... certainly, their expressions are more fun to remember; but don't deny Eminem his!

P.S. I really thought about making this a Xombyte (and I still may), but it really is just a blurb. I just didn't want to give it all the creedence that a work of OK! Magazine's normal quality deserves.
