Olde Tyme Recipes; Irish Beet Pickles

Irish Beet Pickles

An Iriah recipe from way back

Boil beets until tender
Cut into chunks rather than slice
Boil togather 1 cup of sugar
1 cup of cidar vinegar
1 cup of water

Put beets in hot jars and cover with boiling liquid
Seal with wax and jar lid. < p>
