(A five minute medical time out was called near the end of the second set as China's Tian Jia was having some discomfort in her left arm)

The second Chinese team of Xue Chen and Zhang Xi beat the Brazilian team, Renata Ribeiro and Talita Rocha for the bronze in two sets. 21-19, 21-17
