One Rock in Roll to many performed by Syesha Mercado has earned here a very high rating from the three judges including the ever hard to please Simon. Syesha has not been that strong so far during her previous performances but this performance may bring her up in the ratings. It has generally bring out the best in her and it actually gained positive feedbacks to all the judges.

Paula, commented that her performance brought the house down from the very beggining. Randy commented that it was one of the best or strongest performance the American Idol has done so far and it may come as a surprise to her. Simon thought it was very sexy and agreed with the comment of Randy and further added that the song matches her personality and she should be happy with that.
