your page

love the idea of making your own home page. looks great

Yeah,

Of course this is older than yours so it is formatted to the old xomba so I had to clean it up a bit.  Still not that great but it serves its purpose.  I didn't realized that they had saved the older articles awhile ago so there was alot missing from this page that I had to go back and put in

Thanks for the little snippets

I have had seen this on the Highest Rates Xombytes for a few days, and although iI told myself I'd not click it to read, here I am. Well done! please check out about a little of what we do if you have a little time, I hope it brings a smile to your face as it did to mine. http://bestmandalay.wordpress.com/ http://moelwintravels.blogspot.com/ http://moelwinstuff.blogspot.com/ http://scholarshipschools.blogspot.com/

Great job!

I usually go to the person's profile if an article catches my interest and use their links listed there. With your way, you can choose which ones to list or not to list. Maybe you are happier or generate more income from certain articles and want to keep it in the spotlight. Great idea and what an accomplishment. Way to go!! I dare ya...c'mon you know you want to...Smile! MJ

Anonymous Expression

I feel one expresses oneself better when there is relative anonymity. I cant see myself expressing the same thoughts as in Xomba, at Facebook - crowded as it is with friends, relatives, nephews, nieces...etc etc! Most writing communities that I have come across here has just about enough information on the author to make it interesting. No I dont think there is any danger of this communtity becoming a Xombabook or otherwise... of course this is just my two paise... Join XOMBA, Write, Make Money! My profile Blog

Xomba developments...Home pages and listings...

I moved a listing of pub comedy events to Xomba (checked it would be allowed first). It's already got better search results + there's a link to the new Xomba page where the listing used to be. Inspired by your homepage I'm putting some Xombytes together relating to groups of articles I've published before - with links. Also learning more about BCC coding thangs. It should increase "dwell time" and clicks... so thanks again wHATUP

AndAnotherThing2 writes COMEDYand is Xomba's first featured HISTORIAN

I agree

with you dubs. I created this page just as a place where if someone happened to find something by me that they liked - it would be easy for them to find more. While I am not a fan of Myspace or Facebook (I have used neither - I think I might be the lone human who hasn't), I do believe that you have to kinda give the people what they want as a business anyway. So if nick believes that it is in his and the site's best interest to add some of those type features I would completely understand. Have to keep moving forward and all. Visit my homepage here

MyXombaSpace or XombaBook?

I would rather attract more writers to Xomba and keep the emphasis on this being a writing community and let those other social networking sites (code for places where pre-teens and teens can publicly display way too much personal information about themselves) attract people who talk much but say little. My two cents, anyway. JOIN XOMBA IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD!
