Only A Tear

Only A Tear

Do you drift there among

Half forgotten dreams

Trying to call them

More clearly to mind?

Ther in disjonted time

With things out of place

And special moments

Gone wrong.

Reaching into empty air

To find a tender cheek

But instead

Finding only a tear

Are you watching

Through troubled sleep?

Letting your mind

Wander within lost time.

Hearing each and every word

But it all

Some how seems

Quite wrong

Shall I stay with you

In this time of troubled silence ?

Give you a smile to take the pain

behind those dreams of

Lost reality
