Lenzr.com is a brand new serial photo contest website where business sponsors art. On this domain any online business can offer an imaginative prize to create a heated competition in an open search for the highest rated user submitted content.

In addition to each image upload, members are also asked to compose a 140 character text caption to accompany the picture and perhaps offer contrapuntal insights into its subject and theme.

Lenzr.com makes it fun to vote on these submissions by allowing users to see results only after they've voted.  The upload mechanism binds the title, picture and text together into one competitive unit.  Every sixty days there is another winner!  When each contest ends, the user submitted content with the highest overall rating wins the sponsor’s prize.

Three contest events in the summer of 2009 have gathered up over one hundred and forty photos, and over six thousand votes. The interesting and rewarding photography challenges grew the membership past one hundred registered users. Ontario Tourist Attractions is the fourth photo contest on Lenzr.com and is a search for pictures that pinpoint our province’s most interesting travel destinations. The creative proposition asks participants to upload scenic shots of small town main streets, historic mansions, museums and battlefield monuments. How about shots of the beach or city parks? Or pictures of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa? Do you have any postcard perfect pictures of Niagara Falls? Professional photographers and web savvy amateurs who register as members can use the link in their profile page to bring traffic back to their own website gallery.
