Oprah Winfrey -- Barak Obama's Vice Presidential Candidate?

Oprah Winfrey needs no introduction. She's the billion dollar queen of media hailing from Chicago and a force to be reckoned with. Obama should count himself lucky that Oprah did not decide to support any other candidate, like Hillary, for example. Oprah says “read this book” and people follow. We'll see if her fans will also follow her to the ballot box.

She hosted a celebrity-studded gala for Barack Obama at her Santa Barbara mansion on September 6. The food was cooked by her Ethiopian chef, Mollie. She raised over $2 million for Obama by inviting only 200 stars.

Oprah deserves everything she's got – it was all hard work and sweat. She will leave her mark on 2008 elections in two ways: 1) Helping Obama win, and 2) helping Hillary lose. There are those who claim that Oprah has cooled off from Hillary when Bill Clinton dissed Oprah when he was in the White House. Any takers of that claim?

How about the thesis that the two got close due to Chicago connections? The Windy City is home base to both Oprah and Obama.

People are split whether Oprah supports Obama because of his race of his qualities as a politician and leader. Hard to decide, really.

But here is the real question that cuts through all that static :

Once Obama wins the Democratic nomination, who do you think he'll select as his Vice Presidential candidate?

Oprah, of course!

That would never

That would never happen--Oprah would still be on tv hosting her show everyday at three--not in the white house. that's one thing we know won't happen
