I have been writing online in an increased amount since August 2007. I have also talked to a lot of others, both successful at making money writing articles and those working on becoming successful. In that time period I have learned a lot of things. One thing that is very clear is that some people struggle to figure out what it is they are going to write. This becomes a bigger challenge the more sites that they write for or the more blogs that they blog at. However, this doesn't have to be a difficult and painful process. You can keep organized and generate hundreds and even thousands of ideas.

Get a three ring binder. Staying organized is important, but even more importantly it is very helpful to the writing process. Start by getting a three ring binder.

Set it up. To make it work you will want to add one divider for each site that you write for and or each blog that you blog at. On this divider write topics that you have been writing about on the site. These should be broad categories that you have seen do well with page views, votes, and or money. They could be things like "parenting" or "writing".

Add lots of paper. Under each category add lots of paper. This will be for generating actual titles.

Take time to write down titles. Spending a little bit of time each week can make it possible to write down article titles. Choose titles that go along with your topics. Add new topics or even eliminate ones that aren't making good money. Write down as many titles as you can. Sure it may seem like it will be a long time before you get through the 100 article titles, but truth be told it is easier to write when you have an idea to write about and you are more likely to be able to choose a title from a long list.

Carry a small notebook with you where ever you go. The three ring binder is a great way to stay organized, but sometimes you get great ideas while on the go. Write it down in your small notebook and add it to the site that it fits best at later on.

In this manner you can have lots of ideas that you are working on and working toward completing. You will find you always have something to write about and you can always sit down and do just that.
