It seems now days that our homes activity meter is going crazy. The ghosts in our home are making themselves even more known than before. We have never had this much paranormal activity going on. Appliances turning themselves on, things moving from one place to another. Shadows moving across the room seem to happen all the time now.

Most of these things don't really bother me much. I could really do without the kids being scratched by something that doesn't even seem to be there. My sweet little girl that seems to be at the center of all this activty is now being scratched. The scratches do not seem to last very long though.

These ghosts, or as I prefer to call them; spirits, have started showing themselves to all of us now. The only person that hasn't seen them yet is my ex husband. He never really did believe that our daughter had the gift of this ability.

Over the last few months our daughter who I will call S, has started to feel more at ease talking about these spirits. It is nothing nowdays for us to be sitting around the dinner table, and S pops up with which ghost has decided to join us in the kitchen. We have one room in our home that is always colder than any other room. The master bedroom never seems to get warm. We just thought it was because the vent in that room wasn't working. So, we checked the vent out and it seems to work just fine. Still the room stays about  fifteen degrees colder than the rest of our home.

I have been doing more and more research into the paranormal the last couple of weeks. I have been reading everything that I can find on children and the paranormal. I know that there are those that believe that reconstructing a home can cause the activity level to increase. We haven't done any remodeling. I am not sure what has caused the increase in activity.

It would be interesting to know  what has brought about the change from the norm. I will be continuing to read all I can in the hopes of understanding what we are dealing with here. I still need to find out the history of the property. Maybe something in the history of our home is behind so many new things happening.
