Ozzy

We had a huge yard and decided the boys needed another friend. I decided to get my three sons a dog, he was an alaskan husky, black with white and brown. He was 6 weeks old. We named him Ozzy because we couldn't decide what to name him and I had just brought my oldest son to Ozzy Osbourne concert, so we named him Ozzy.

To my surprise not long after we got him, the landlord had notified me that they were going to sell the land where I rented a duplex for the past 5 years. I would have to move out quickly if they sell it.

The time had come and I couldn't find an apartment that would accept a pet. So we had to get rid of our Ozzy. I didn't know what to do, I tried giving him away to friends, etc. No takers, so I looked in the newspaper under lost/found and decided I would try and call some people who had lost theirs and see if they were interested. After calling quite a number of people, this one person wanted to take a look at him, so I drove him over with all of his shot records, extra leashes etc .... and the kids they had were petting him and hugging him, and they asked me what his name was, I told them...Ozzy, they completely fell in love with him and took him. They told me he would be going to Nondalton, Alaska.

A few years later I was out selling my art and I got into a conversation with a fellow from Nondalton, I told him my story of our dog. He said, "Ozzy"! I said, yes. He told me he knows that dog and he is living a very happy life and he is so big, you don't even have to bend over to pet him! I was so happy to hear that, our Ozzy was safe, happy and growing like a weed.

Ozzy - Stalker

I am also glad Stalker got a good home, amazing how things go sometimes, I was soooo worried for over a week that time, I think sometimes we "want" to be in control but somethings things work for the best on thier own. I'm glad Ozzy went to a good home!

A friend of mine had to give up his dog, a very sweet and lovable pit bull named Stalker. As soon as I found out that he was at the shelter, I went to see if I could adopt him. (my friend didn't ask because he knew we could not have pets at our rental house). Even though we could not have pets, the property manager never inspected, so I was willing to risk it. By the time I got there he was already adopted! They couldn't give info about the guy, but the lady at the shelter knew him well and said he had a large property in South Carolina (just across the river from us) and she had actually called him because Stalker was the spitting image and had the same lovable demeanor that his previous dog which had just recently died. I was happy he went to a good home with room to run! Outstanding Savings on Dog Treats. FREE Webmaster Resources FREE Cell Phones with Great Plans
