Michael Kline is dead. San Francisco based reporter, Adam Satariano, filed a story with Bloomberg's that Pacificor LLC, hedge fund owner Michael Klein, was killed in a plane crash with his 13-year-old daughter, Talia, and airplane pilot, Edwin Lasso (of Panama). The plane was missing since December 23, 2007, on a flight from Islas Secas to "Volcan Baru" (Chiriqui volcano, dormant) the highest mountain peak in Panama at 11,412 feet (3478m). This is heavily vegetated mountainous terrain, except for the erosion from the large amount of rain in Panama, one of the wettest places on earth. See image.

Passenger Francesca Lewis, the 12-year-old friend of Talia, survived the crash and was in a Panama hospital with unspecified multiple injuries.
