In the wake of Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf imposing a state of emergency after rapid deterioration in the security situation and growing uncertainty over his position, Pakistan's high-profile cricket tour of India will continue as scheduled.

The Pakistani team's Media Manager Ehsan Malik said."As far as we are concerned, we have not received any instructions from the Pakistan Cricket Board. We are continuing to do what we have been doing"

The team, arrived in India on Thursday, and is scheduled to meet India in the first one-dayer to be played in Guwahati on Monday.
