Pakistan test fires cruise missile
Since the WW2, we were used to learn that only 5 nations had the nuclear power : thos 5 nations were USA, Russia, England, France and India.
Now, some other countries, like Pakistan, a South Asian nation with nuclear power, is gaining the same "award" being one of the other nation having the nuclear weapon. During his last tries, Pakistan has successfully test-fired a new missile that "can carry all types of warheads."
Here is the comment and the features of the missile revealed by CNN News :
The army said in a statement that the country on Saturday fired an "air-launched cruise missile called Hatf-8, or Ra'ad -- which means thunder in Arabic.
The missile has "a range of "350 kilometers" or nearly 220 miles "for now."
And, it has been designed exclusively for launch from a variety of Pakistan's air platforms."
"The missile has a low detection probability due to stealth design and materials used in its manufacturing. The Ra'ad can carry all types of warheads and has an accuracy comparable to Pakistan's longer Babur cruise missile."
We all knows that Pakistan is an "ally" of USA. As fat as Mr. Pervez Musharraf, President of cthe country is on board, the nation will remain allied to USA and Occident.
But Mr.Musharraf is one of the most important target for fundamentalist and terrorist which are more and more numerous in this country. This last is probably behind Indonesia, the most islamic one in the world.
How many time this "alliance" will be maintained, what will happenned when a new president will be elected, if either Musharraf hold on the power until next elections, or until a nex President would eb put instead of him at power.
"Pakistan's defense will continue to be strengthened as an imperative of national security, they said, and assured all support to Pakistan's strategic program," the army said.
Most of all, the commun and "traditionnal" ennemy of Pakistan
is India, its neighbor and nuclear rival, they both have carried out missile tests before in the past, and they have become a sort of routine.
Pakistan and India (and Bangladesh) are the results of the end of the British Empire which was regrouping all those countries. Mainly the muslim population went to Pakistan, and the Boudhist or Indian people went back to the India we knows nowadays.
Here is a comment from CNN News : "Both countries reached an agreement in 2006 that stipulates each will notify the other before conducting missile tests, and a Pakistani government official told CNN that Pakistan informed India about this latest test".
We could compare those event as an escalade of weapon construction, like during the Cold War between USA and USSR.
See the link below to get a video of the last tests made by Pakistan.
After you, until which point those 2 countries will hold before one decides to take action on the other ?
Until when the President will manage to stay at power, and keep Pakistan to be an USA and Occident allies ?

Working with Pervez Musharaff is good for the US because the Taliban networks in Pakistan wants to see the US annihilated so that they can spread the Islamic jihad without intimidation. Hope Musharaff will keep that spirit of being an ally to the west otherwise the world will come to end by the religious zealots. Jesus have foretold this things and i can smell his prophesy coming true, taking into consideration other calamities like floods over the globe and the threat of the ozone layer. i think this is a woke call for every folk to question their being.
Well, thanks for your
Well, thanks for your answer.
I too consider good that Musharraf is still at power, because as far as he is at power, we will keep Pakistan... in relative "peace" with others.
But tensions with India, internal problems and tensions within the country make the work of Musharraf very difficult.
And my feelings are liek I said in my post, when Musharraf will be off of the power, by his retreat or whatever reason, situation will degrade.
Unfortunately, I did not understand well the last part of your answer.
