Palm Treo Pro Released - Can It Compete?

The new Treo pro handset from Palm was released on the 20th of August and the company hopes that it will be able to compete with the likes of the Apple iPhone.

With good initial marks on it's functionality as compared with it's competition and with enough time to build up some buzz before the holiday buying season, it may still be a bit pricey at $549 (unlocked) in the US. Analysts seem to think that Palm needs to get the cost down to about $250
