Paste, a Music Magazine with CD, Joins the "Pay What You Want" Trend
Following the lead of Radiohead's new "In Rainbows" album, Paste, a monthly magazine that comes with a free CD, is offering one-year subscriptions for any price a person chooses, as long as it's $1 or more.
Subscriptions to Paste normally cost $20 for a one-year deal.
If you choose to pay more than that regular rate (OK, it's actually $19.95), your name will be printed in the magazine, in some unnamed future issue of Paste.
A spokesman for Paste said that yes, the plan was indeed inspired by Radiohead's attention-getting album release.
