Pathetic condition of Indian Sports

"Kalmadi re-elected IOA president" is a news posted in one of the sites... Does it surprise any of the Indians in XOMBA....

This symbolize the pathetic condition of our sports including cricket. Those heading each of this sports associations are accountable for the performance as they are HONORARY President.
Who are this honorary presidents? have they represented the sport. If that is the case Sharad pawar might have played cricket for MUMBAI..

Coming back to Kalmadi... this is his fourth term as IOA and selected unopposed.. In India, none of the sport associations come under government's scrutiny.

These associations should be abolished and the presidents should be full time paid executives and they should be held accountable for performances.. This avoid the interference of politics into sports. Not hoping these changes to be implemented soon definitely not by our current politicians but definitely by our young generation politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Anbumani Ramadoss, Dayanathi maran...
