Patricide is the killing of one's father. These types of crimes are increasing in the world we are living in. It looks like people have been desensitized from the gruesome effects of killing.
After all if one spends most of his time on violent tv shows and movies and also the games where killing is prevalent then it is possible for the act of killing to start seeming normal.
These are just my thoughts especially after the many killings that we have had all over the country.
