Paul Newman - The Blue Eyed Star - A Tribute

Paul Newman (1925-2008) was a true blue eyed star of Hollywood films. He passed away at his home near Westport, Connecticut, on Friday after a long battle with cancer. He was 83. It is indeed a very sad day for all and a true loss to the Hollywood film industry. He was a true icon and a legend, a superstar, a stunningly handsome actor and director who will be remembered always.

I have personally been a great fan of his and watched many of his classic movies that enthralled me. I loved his role in the "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and the song "Raindrops are falling over my head" is my all time favorites! Who can forget his role in the film "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" in 1958 opposite the beautiful and gorgeous actress, Elizabeth Taylor, who is also one of my old time favorites? I've seen many other great films like, Color of Money, Towering Inferno, Hombre, The Verdict, and his last film The Road to Perdition opposite Tom Hanks. I loved all his films and he suited the characters that he played in all of them!
This is my tribute to him. Watch Paul Newman in the song "Raindrops keep falling on my head" from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid on You tube video here:

I for one shall miss him, but am glad that due to technology, I will always be able to watch him on screen whenever I feel like.
