Paula Abdul made a mistake. She made a comment for a song that was not sung yet by American Idol contestant Jason Castro. American Idol host commented that Paula is seeing the future!

Though there is no possibility that Puala will be leaving the show due to the blunder since in a live telecast, Ryan Seacrest defended Paula Abdul against Internet chatter about her flub the night before: "Just for the record: The rumors — they're not true. She's part of our family, and we love her."

Obviously there were also rumors circulating about Paula but this were unspecified.

Paula Abdul defended herself later Abdul later joined 'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest on his radio show to explain her mistake, saying that she was confused by the change of format. She claimed that she got "lost on (her) notes" during the live show.
