PBS Premieres "Looking for Lincoln" Movie Tonight

PBS is airing the movie "Looking for Lincoln," a look at this complex and multifaceted president, starting tonight, Feb. 11th. Hosted by historian Henry Louis Gates, Jr., "Looking for Lincoln" uses the 200th anniversary of Lincoln's birth to examine his life and legacy. See the program's official home page at PBS (below) for the schedule of airtimes and channels.

Among the people interviewing in "Looking for Lincoln" are Pulitzer Prize winning presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, and a number of Lincoln scholars.

There is also a companion book to the program, Looking for Lincoln: The Making of an American Icon.
