Personality Differences in Dog, Cat & No Animals People

Okay, so this article of mine is not based on indepth research, or fancy statistical data collected over a population. This is my opinion of knowing many pet owners over the many years I have been alive. So, don't get all upset if you don't like what you read. Nothing applies to everyone that exists. Again, this was just a fun article I wrote about my perceprions of dog, cat and no pets people, over the years. Check it out, you might find it fascinating what I observed!

Who Knew That They Would Love You Right Back?

I liked your article - it made me wonder about my own feelings towards cats and dogs.

When I was young, I alway liked dogs.  I really didn't understand why people liked cats.  Dogs were so willing to please.  Cats were so aloof.  You could play with dogs, but cats seemed to have their own agenda.

A few years back, I took in a stray, almost-starved-to-death kitten.  She was so grateful for my love and attention.  But she didn't make it, and died laying on my chest.  It touched me in ways that I couldn't quite fathom.

Now, we have 4 indoor cats - who we consider to be members of the family, and a varying number of alley cat abandons that we feed out on the porch.

I have discovered (and honestly wonder how it is that I didn't ever see it before) that -- if you love a cat, it will love you right back.  It's probably true about dogs, too.  An Amazing Gift.
