Phoenix Has Landed: NASA's Mars Lander Touches Down
NASA's Mars lander Phoenix has successfully landed on the Martian surface. The entry and landing went as the engineers drew it up, much to the relief of the crew at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California.
The Phoenix Mars landing team is now waiting to see if the Mars lander's solar panels have successfully deployed.
