I believe *guard* is misunderstanding the job description...

It looks like what the job description for their guard is would be more like "make sure to call us if anyone tries to do something untoward with the artwork" as opposed to a "you touch, I break-a your arm" sort of bodyguard. In a society that is used to obeying rules, just having a presence next to the painting is enough to dissuade any would-be vandals from following through with their vandalistic intentions. In the U.S., such jobs would be called "docents". JOIN US IN TOASTING YOUR FUTURE SUCCESS!

@wH.U--Yes, They Ought to Be Xombies, but Not on Museum NetSpace

I would rather see them writing on a notepad (something to type into Xomba when they get home) than staring blankly at an empty showroom. But I dearly hope that Xomba is far too engrossing to have displayed when the lightning-fast artwork-thieves try to take over the gallery! ---Uncle MythMan of the Professional Friends who GET MONEY for Echoing the Universe (the Wonderful World Above & the Beauty Amidst)

I Was Gonna Say Something Cute (Like "Girl Power") but These ...

...-aren't your average "cutesy girls." They ARE 'ladies' of the 'lunch'-variety (couldn't you just see any of them with a scooper behind a pan of sloppy-joes?) ---Uncle MythMan of the Professional Friends who GET MONEY for Echoing the Universe (the Wonderful World Above & the Beauty Amidst)

What?

No laptops with Xomba pulled up making funny 'blurb posts? Someone help a sister out! Those women look bored almost out of their minds. Get a little to close to that Rembrandt and they just might bitch slap you just out of sheer boredom. Visit my homepage here
