Pill Splitting Saves Money On Prescription Drugs

Pill splitting is a way to save money on prescription drugs, a way to get twice the amount of medication for the same insurance co-pay.

Your physician can write a prescription for pills or tablets that you take daily in a dosage amount that is double what you take. The double dosage amount will cost you the same insurance co-pay as your regular dosage amount, and you split the pills at home, giving you a two month supply for the price of a one month supply.
