If you loved the book The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett, you'll be thrilled to learn that Munich based production company Tandem is filming the story as a television series set to hit our screens in 2010.

The Pillars of the Earth is one of the best selling books of all time selling 14 million copies worldwide and remaining on top sellers lists for many years after its release. The tale is full of love, religious strife and family fueds and makes an excellent read, lets hope the TV series, starring Ian McShane,  does it justice.
