Pittsburgh Steelers Win Fugly on MNF, Defeat Pathetic Dolphins
posted November 27, 2007 - 1:42amHow's this for justice? The haughty Miami Dolphins 1972 team went undefeated and no one has done it since. This year, the New England Patriots are just a few winnable games from breaking the record, while the Miami Dolphins are 0-11 and just a few games from being the first team since the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers to not win a regular season game.
There--the brief historical perspective I just gave was more interesting and far less painful to observe than the game on Monday Night Football this evening.
If Pittsburgh thinks that it's going to wrestle the AFC North away from the upstart Cleveland Browns, they better find a way to beat teams handily that they should beat handily.
3-0? Seriously? Who wants to be knows for the lowest scoring NFL game in 64 years going 59 minutes into the game? Then again, who wants to be known for losing every single regular season game?
