Planning a Trip to DisneyLand
posted June 12, 2008 - 1:00amPlanning a trip to Disneyland is a very complex task. At first it seemed really simple: book some tickets, book a hotel, and we’re done! Well it’s a lot more difficult than that. Yes, we have to book some tickets and book a hotel, but that on its own needs much planning and thinking. First we have to figure out the best deals because if we just get to Disneyland and buy tickets from the booth it will cost a lot more. Of course, the line we have to wait in is another issue. Once we figured out the best deal, we had to figure out how many places around Disney we want to see. That’s not an easy task since there are many amusement parks, zoos, SeaWorld, etc. We want to see as much as possible, so we decided to get the city pass! That way, we can go everywhere. We can go to Disneyland, SeaWorld, zoo, etc.
First problem solved, now we have to solve the second problem and that is where will we stay? While in the state we can stay with friends and family, but while near Disneyland we have to figure something out since no one we know lives any less than three hours away. So finding a hotel or motel that will accommodate us all is not very simple. Finding a hotel that is close to Disney is expensive! That’s one thing, then we need to find another place to stay in near the other parks and zoos since they’re a few hours away from Disney.
That’s just the major stuff; the minor things are even more difficult to figure out. Overall though I think it will all be worth it once we get to Disney.
