The classic adventure game, Monkey Island, is back! Who said that adventure games were dead? I'm shocked that more people aren't talking about this, considering how popular the series was back in the early 90s. If you were wondering, the team working on this game includes some of the original geniuses behind the classic Monkey Island game.

Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 1 is the first part of this revived classic. As before, you play as Guybrush, who is now a fierce and mighty pirate...erm, yeah. All the familiar characters are back, including Guybrush's wife and former Governer Elaine, and the evil undead pirate LeChuck. There are 5 episodes in the series, each sold seperately, but you can play the free demo over at Reflexive.

It's a lot of fun, and totally worth checking out!
