The first time (and every time subsequently) that I watched this animation, it brought tears to my eyes. Yes, I am a very sentimental person, it's true. And yes, I know the artist very well so I admit that I might be a tad biased. However, everyone that I've shared it with has agreed that there's a special quality to it, an innocence...purity in its simplicity and beauty. The subject of the video concerns Greek mythology surrounding the Pleiades constellation. Years ago, I went to Maui with a friend who happens to be an astronomy buff, and she brought it my attention for the first time one amazingly clear evening. The name stuck with me ever since. When Alex showed me his video, I wanted to show the world his wonderful interpretation of the story. Watch and enjoy!
