strut
lizard
myriad
feverish
outward
cling
fig
candidly
telescope
rapture
stream
timidly
Creatively candidly the way you
maneuver around the world.
And there is bliss within the walls you so cleverly raise.
Never in my wildest dreams would I think
That rapture could be found in this obscene thing
The way you choose to live amongst a myriad of false beliefs
You cling to your ideas as if they are of the greatest value to the world
Never exposing them to anyone.
I look at you from outside your window.
And timidly question who you are and what you need.
Nothing you say a bit feverish with desperation.
Directing you unsurely inward.
Like an inverted telescope
Instead of making object from a far sharper,
Easier to see to comprehend.
You make yourself smaller,
Harder to understand.
You strut about like a cock protecting his hens
And scatter about like a lizard behind things
To hide from the heat of reality
The burning of normalcy.
Evil spiteful hateful words stream effortlessly from you.
And despite the obvious unattractiveness you say them anyway.
Pushing everything away.
It is so hard to break through those walls
So hard to get to the core of you. But I do
And just when I think I can reap what I sow.
Well, what do you know?
Seeds, plenty of seeds, inside the fruit of my labors,
A fig or pomegranate.
Which one do I pick?
Which one is correct for planting down the deepest down?
To grow from the ground and sprout a new you?
