When police officers feel their authority and power slipping away, what do they do? They do what it takes to win - tazer, beat with hands or batons, handcuff and beat some more. That's the American way ;)

This is an interesting question. that deserves being asked in our current society still suffering from Bush-era loss of civil liberties to further increase the perception of safety secured.
