It has gotten to the point that we cannot even open a magazine or turn on the TV without being bombarded with advertising touting the latest miracle cure for toenail fungus or herpes. We must remember to be highly skeptical to these claims since the big drug companies are just trying to get us (not our doctors) to decide which pills are best for us to pop. All drugs have side effects, and it is apparent that some of these side effects are much, much worse than the conditions that they are purporting to treat...
