A portable pancreas may soon be in the market soon. This is actually something to look forward to. Aaron Kowalski who is the director of strategic research projects at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation said that the device would initially be a combination of two existing technoligies. These would be the insulin pump and continuous glocuse monitor.

In a few years time, this portable pancreas will soon be used by people with diabetic problem. It is capable of monitoring the person's blood sugar and adjusting the level of insulin.

Diabetic disease is something that should be monitored since the person's sugar if to low or to high can cause a problem. As an additional disadvantage people with diabetes, will often suffer heart disease considering that diabetes is a risk factor for heart disease.
