Anthony Hopkins of Jackson, Ala., was arrested during a revival Tuesday after police discovered a dead body in his freezer believed to be his wife. 36-year-old Arletha Hopkins, mother of eight, had not been reported missing, but police went to the Hopkins residence after a relative called to report years of sexual abuse by the small-time religionist. Hopkins reportedly moved from place to place a lot and home-schooled his kids ages 3-19, explaining that his wife died in childbirth leaving him a single father. Hopkins is the father of six of his wife's eight children. He has been charged with rape and sodomy in a separate case involving a female relative and could face more charges involving another relative.
