There are many women the world over who have navel piercings and love them but they end up taken them out when they get pregnant because they think that they have too. This is not true; if you have a navel piercing and get pregnant you can keep your navel piercing through your pregnancy.

You should visit a your body piercer or a body piercer when you become pregnant or at sometime during your pregnancy before your piercing starts to become uncomfortable because they will be able to provide you with the appropriate type of jewelry that you can wear throughout your pregnancy and even into the delivery room.

The jewelry that you will need to get to wear during your pregnancy is made from a form of plastic and is bendable. This works great for the navel piercing during pregnancy because as the navel starts to protrude outwards the jewelry will bend with it.

This is completely safe for you and your baby. This jewelry will allow you to keep your navel piercing so that you won’t have to take it out, let close up and then have to pay to have it re-pierced after you have the baby.

This is also beneficial because the average navel piercing cost $40.00 to $80.00 and after you pay this you also have to go through the healing process which takes about 6 weeks. Those of us with the navel piercings who really like our piercings really don’t want to have to go through all this again if we don’t have too.

This jewelry is available in many sizes, colors and usually cost between $10.00 to $30.00 per a piece of jewelry. Most tattoo studios that also perform body piercings probably have the jewelry or should at least be able to get it for you. Being that this jewelry is made of the plastic material that is made allows you to be able to wear it even into the delivery room.

So many women don’t know anything about this kind of jewelry so they take their navel piercings out, let them close, have to get re-pierced and go through the healing process all over again because of not knowing anything about their options and that is the purpose of this article, to inform the public.

I am a piercer and I tell all my female clients who get their navels piercer about their options because I hate to see women come in to get pierced who have been pierced before but took their navel piercing out because they got pregnant.

If I were going to someone for a navel piercing I would want them to tell me of all my options so, I treat my clients with the same respect that I would want to receive. I hope that you find this information useful and if you don’t necessarily need it for yourself maybe you know someone who can use it.

This type of jewelry not works get for women during their pregnancy but if you ever have to an MRI, Cat-Scan or be admitted to the hospital for some reason and you have piercings you can wear this jewelry for those purposes too.

Ouch!

That sounds painful. But I have always been squeamish about pain. Interesting though.
