Premiership, La Liga, Serie A…- Let's Talk Football

PREMIERSHIP, LA LIGA, SERIE A…- LET’S TALK FOOTBALL.

The outcome of this season’s European Champions’ League shall be quite unpredictable. This is obviously so, judging by the compositions of various teams after players’ transfers and due to the change in ownership of certain clubs. Presently, a team like Manchester City FC can boast of multimillion dollar budget, thanks to its new owners. Think of it, they have something to show for such a new status- last minute signing of a widely loved Mr. Robson de Souza, a.k.a. Robinho, a Brazilian forward snatched under the nose of confident Chelsea FC [http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/chelsea/article4636497.ece]. The young man has brought along with him to the club his popularity, football technique and football luck. The combination of which has helped boost popularity of his new club and the optimism of its new owners. If the unstable success of Manchester United and some other favorite premiership clubs is something to go by, leadership of the Premiership this is season is still left wide-open.
Talking about the La liga, there is this tendency that last year’s Champion- Real Madrid- are keen at showing an equally brilliant performance this season. If there is a surprise here, the extraordinary positive performance of a new, to the la liga, club- Club Deportivo Numancia de Soria- worths mentioning. They played with Barcelona as such it was conspicuous the Barcelonan team is in a great need of an able manager. Their other match with the immaculate Real Madrid almost tarnished the record of the royal team. And all of these were at the beginning of the season- a promise of competitive season.
The cross-over of one of the most successful football managers to Inter Milan from Chelsea is a great moment for the La Beneamata and a promise of great season ahead in Serie A. The acquisition by their rival team, both in Milan and in Serie A, of a highly cherished Ronaldo de Assis Moreira a.k.a. Ronaldinho though will constantly affect the popularity balance scale unless the Nerazzurri are up to the task and determined. In any case, none of the teams in Serie A will surely feel confident while seating at the top of the league table this season. It shall be a competitive bout for leadership of the Italian League.
This same level of competitiveness is observable in all the leagues across Europe. So interesting and unpredictable as such one is left to wonder which among the teams will be crowned European Best for the season, at the end of the day.
