President Barrack Obama Wins Nobel Prize

A report from the Associated Press tells us that President Barack Obama won the Nobel Prize on Friday based on his promise for disarmament and diplomacy. Though the award drew some gasps of surprise considering that at this point in time, it’s too early... too soon.

Four of the five member Norwegian Nobel Committe spoke to the Associated Press said that the awarding of the peace prize for Obama could be seen as an early vote of confidence intended to build a vote of confidence intended to build global support with respect to the policies of his admistration.

The change was lauded globally for Obama’s calls for peace and cooperation. His pledges to reduce the world stock of nuclear arms as well as to ease U.S. conflict with Muslim nations and strengthening its role in combating climate change was highly praised.

The President said that he was surprised and was deeply humbled by the honor and is planning to travel to Oslo to accept the price on December. He is also planningto donate the $1.4 million cash award which goes along with the price to charity.
