Presidential Inauguration: Millions Will Be Flocking to Washington D.C.
posted November 13, 2008 - 6:54pmWith or without tickets people will be flocking to the U.S. Capitol to be there for this historic Inauguration Day. Hotels are getting booked up (if they aren't already). Jumbo television screens will be lining the National Mall and officials are urging planners to use stadiums as overflow viewing areas. Thousands of additional police officers have been called in to help the nation's capital deal with the huge crowds.
Millions are expected to descend on Washington D.C. for the Swearing-in Ceremony of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States of America.
