I Heart Huckabees - a review

I watched a most obscure film today, the title being "I heart huckabees"

It happens to be such a well constructed film, but a very strange viewing. Set around the main character Albert Markovski (Jason Schwartzman) who questions some of the coincidences in his life and goes about hiring a pair of married detectives(played by lily tomlin and dustin hoffman). A series of bizarre events occur during the detectives search for meaning in Alberts life.The detectives seem more like psycologists than detectives which is strange enough, and thier rediculous behaviour during the film makes you laugh. Other characters involved with these detectives are played by jude law, naomi watts, mark wahlberg. This is one bizarre flick reminding me how much of a jason schwartzman fan i am.

In a way this film reminds me of films by Wes Anderson, definitely a film i would recommend to others.

Prepare for obscurity as this is such a strange topic for film, but also is great  for a laugh.... Enjoy!!
