Here are some useful links for many different printable rulers. If you are stuck and need to measure something but don't have a ruler handy. You can always print a ruler from this printable ruler website, and then you can throw it away when you’re done using it.

I was working on a project at home and I needed a metric ruler, but I didn’t have any metric rulers available. I only had a couple of English rulers and even they were not in good shape (kids). But luckily I did have my printer stocked with paper and ready to go. So I went online and searched for printable rulers and I was able to find all the English and metric rulers that I could want. I quickly picked out a combination English, metric ruler and moments later I had made my first of many paper rulers!

I love using paper rulers they are so convenient to generate and then toss away when I am done. Cutting out a paper ruler isn’t even necessary most of the time. You can even print a ruler on card stock if you need it to last longer than a couple of uses.
