Priyanka Chopra, born July 18, 1982 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand to Father Ashok Chopra and Mother Madhu Akhauri, both of whom are doctors. Priya studied at St. Maria Goretti in Bareilly, as a young girl and then later on went to the USA and returned back to India only to complete high school at Army School (Bareilly). She later joined college at Jai Hind College in Mumbai but left after winning the Miss World pageant becoming became the fifth Indian woman to win the title, and the fourth Indian woman to win in a span of seven years.

Priya made her cinematic debut alongside Ilaya Thalapthy 'Dr. Vijay' downsouth with 'Tamizhan' in which she also tried her hand ( Vocals ) in singing. She mde her fast bollywood debut alongside Sunny Deol with 'The Hero: Love Story of a Spy' which became one of the highest grossing films of 2003 and got good reviews for her perfomance and won a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for her next film 'Andaaz' opposite Akshay Kumar. Priyanka on proving her skills donned a negative role in her next release, Aitraaz, a Hindi remake of the Demi Moore-starrer 'Disclosure'earning a Filmfare Best Villain Award to no surprise.

Priyanka was sure a part of 2 blockbuster films 'Krrish' & 'Don - The Chase Begins Again' in the year 2006. Her later releases the Nikhil Advani's multi-starrer, Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love in 2007 & Big Brother only failed at the box office to bring disappointment to this damsel.
