California is a sunny state with many beaches, and entertainment centers like Disneyland, and Six Flag Magic Mountain. I had a lot of fun doing those things that everyone else did in California. The weather was just right. It was not too cold or too hot. It was cool most of the time and I think that’s one of the things that I enjoyed about California. The state is great but there are many problems along with the great assets of California. One of those problems is the crime rate in California.

While I was living in Orange County, I have witnessed daily crime. It affects you as a person and your family as well. You’re constantly worried about your kid’s safety. The school system is great but there are crimes in school too. One sad thing that I observed was that children who would get into trouble with the law before they ever graduated High School. It was a shame. Those students then have to continue their education at a continuing High School and not a regular High School. It happened in my own home. Two of my younger brothers gotten into so much trouble at the local High School. It was Westminster High School. Westminster High School is not a safe High school at all. It’s in the heart of Westminster, Orange County, but parents have to worry about their child’s safety on a daily basis there. Some of the crimes at the local High School are unimaginable; you didn’t think that kids could do those kinds of crimes.

If I have a kid, I wouldn’t be able to send them to this High School. I would be afraid that my kid would go to jail or be attack before they ever finish High School. This is the reality of High School in some part of California. There is better High School in wealthier city but not everyone can afford to live in expensive cities. If you live in Newport Beach or Malibu beach, it will be safer but not everyone can afford to live in those expensive cities. Since it’s such a problem, the community leader needs to come up with a solution so that High School students can focus on their education instead of other things that they shouldn’t have to worry about. It can be difficult to go to a public school but I believe that the community leader and the parents have a responsibility to make school safer for the little kids.
